Presentation Description:
- Overview of neonatal transport for the new practitioner and non-neonatal practitioner. Presentation will include discussion of the initial stabilization, differential diagnosis and treatment. Facilitating the transport of the Peds/Neo team will also be discussed including equipment needs for ground, fixed and/or rotor wing transport.
By the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- List common neonatal conditions and stabilization of life threatening conditions
- Describe important aspects of neonatal transport
- Describe the outcomes associated with effective neonatal transport

- This panel of industry leaders will share their association's view of the current status of HEMS, to include current challenges and opportunities, and to describe what they feel is the future of HEMS within the next 5-10 years. Following this presentation, the panel will field questions regarding specific items of interest. The floor will be open to attendees to speak directly with their association leaders. The session will wrap up with an opportunity for summation for each industry representative and opportunities for further networking.
