History

The GLAC was a concept that was brought forward by Jim Reeves who had a vision that would help elevate the IAFP as an organization to a new level for the future. In 2003 the GLAC concept was developed and in 2005 the program was brought to life through the forward drive of new Board members with a similar vision. By-laws were drafted and the Board of Directors ratified the concept of the Government and Legislative Affairs Committee in 2005.
